Button opening range at 100bb
The button acts last before the flop, after UTG, HJ and CO have folded. Only the blinds remain. If one of them calls, you have position for the rest of the hand. That is why this seat is the widest open on the chart: about 44.8% of combinations.
What the button adds
Everything the cutoff opens, plus the suited kings K4s, K3s and K2s. The weaker suited connectors and one-gappers come in: T6s, 96s, 85s, 75s, 64s and 54s. Offsuit, the button adds K8o, K7o, Q8o, J8o, T8o and 98o.
What still folds
The worst offsuit junk still folds. 72o, J4o, T4o and hands of that shape are quiet cells. A suited hand is not an automatic raise either: 32s folds. Blue means open-raise. Charcoal means fold. There is no call on this page.
Open the button chart when it folds to you. If a player has already raised, you are no longer opening, and this chart does not answer a 3-bet. Study baseline for 100bb 6-max cash, written for this site, not copied from a solver library.
